Following our success at the ideal home exhibition 2003, the members of the Bakudi team would like to thank both customers and others for the positive feedback and interest in our products that we received from them.
It’s here at last our totally new web site - apologies for the delay, please remember our site will be regularly updated allowing us to display the vast range of hand crafted furniture and ornaments that we provide - exquisite lighting has become a part of our range, this can vary from free standing to wall & ceiling mounted products.
Our aim is to provide beautifully designed top-quality furniture at a very competitive price which we find very few organizations are able to match - newly designed products are constantly arriving, please contact us if you cannot locate a particular item as we would be more than pleased to assist in whatever way possible.
All furniture is handmade in India using traditional methods using locally grown wood from managed plantations which are reforested as it is felled and this beautiful wood has one of the longest & richest grains of any wood in the world, therefore each piece is highly individual.
Traditional methods are used by the professional artist’s during the making of the furniture therefore on completion each piece has a unique wealth of character and the timeless beauty comes from the stunning wood grains and individuality --- not from perfection.! It is the imperfection’s which make’s our handmade solid wood furniture so very different to the machine-mitred chipboard that comes with a “real wood” veneer just 1 mm thick!!!
